26 Oct ALERT: Zero Motorcycle Recall
Zero Motorcycles is quite a new company, specializing in high performance electric motorcycles. Just this week though, two rather new models have just been recalled due to a serious potential threat. The off- road 2009 Zero X and the Zero MX are the models that are being recalled. The problem is with a defective throttle that can become disconnected or get stuck in the open position, causing the bike to unexpectedly accelerate immediately after starting it up.
Anyone who owns one of these bikes is urged to immediately discontinue use and take it in to a Zero Motorcycles to be repaired free of charge. For more information, contact Zero Motorcycles toll-free at 888-786-9376 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific Time or visit them online www.zeromotorcycles.com.
Most motorcycle products are manufactured without defects and bike makers work hard to recall and repair products when issues do arise. However, sometimes defective products do injure consumers. If you or a loved one has been harmed by a defective bike product, it is a product liability issue and an experienced attorney can help. We deal with these kinds of cases and can provide a free assessment.
