09 Mar Dallas Child Left in Daycare Van
Police are investigating Braswell Child Development School after they had left a child in a daycare van for about an hour before realizing he was in the daycare van. The Dallas child was picked up in the daycare van and apparently fell asleep on the ride to the daycare. When the van arrived at the daycare, no one noticed he was left behind in the van.
Leaving children locked in a car can be dangerous and even deadly. With no climate control, extreme temperatures can cause frostbite or heat stroke. If the vehicle is locked, the child might not know how to unlock the doors to get out and it’s likely they will panic when they realize they’re alone.
