A Schertz-Cibolo-University City school bus collided with a pickup truck, which injured 12 students and the driver of the truck. The school bus wreck happened on Tuesday morning, October 13, 2009 around 6:52 a.m. at the intersection of FM 1518 and Abbott Road, as reported by The Gazette-Enterprise.
The school bus was transporting 22 fifth and sixth graders when the accident occurred. The 12 injured students and the driver of the pickup truck were transported by emergency medical services crews to a local hospital for treatment.
The school bus was reported on its way to Jordan Middle School. Police officials are currently investigating the two-vehicle crash. It is unknown if anyone has been cited for the wreck.
