09 Mar Delaware Veterans Home Residents “Falling Through the Cracks”
In a hearing called by the state Comission on Veterans Affairs in regard to their role and that of the secretary of state’s office in day-to-day operations at the Delaware Veterans Home, complaints arose about the quality of care at the facility. A nursing-home administrator not associated with the facility said, “the residents are not getting good care because they are falling through the cracks.”
