09 Mar Another Semi Truck Accident Seemingly Due to Negligence
The driver of an 18-wheeler flipped his truck Monday afternoon while transporting a 126 foot man-lift, owned by Aerial Access Equipment, when the accident occurred. Nederland, Texas Police Sgt. David Odom said the truck was heading southbound when it appeared the truck veered towards the shoulder of the roadway which caused his load to shift thus forcing the truck onto its side.
Although no one was seriously injured and no charges have been filed yet, witness accounts point to negligence on the driver’s part saying he weaved to the side of the road and back which caused the truck to tip over.
