Letters outlining a lack of staff response to concerns of understaffing, medication errors, worker complacency and patient neglect at the Thomas E. Creek Department of Verterans Affairs Medical Center prompted an investigation of the nursing home by a board from nearby elder care facilities. About 120 residents of the nursing home have called for change.
