2 Semi Accidents End In 4 Deaths this Weekend.

Dwayne Snyder of Pennsylvania was driving a semi truck on the Ohio turnpike when witnesses said his truck went off the side of the road and struck a sign, then hit the Southwest Road bridge in Groton Township in Erie County. His two children, 10 year old Chadwin and 3 year old Derrick were killed in the accident.

The semi accident caused severe damage to the bridge and Southwest Road was closed down. Ohio Turnpike engineers will coordinate repairs to the bridge. The crash is still under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Another semi truck accident occurred this weekend near Chesapeake Bay. A three-vehicle crash ended in one death and two others severely injured. Witnesses say that the semi truck driver hit a wall and tumbled into the bay. It is not currently clear how other cars became involved in the crash. The driver’s body was recovered from the bay early in the morning at around 5:40 a.m.
