07 Aug 2 Semi Truck Accidents Occur; 2 Seriously Injured
A semi accident on Highway 93 in Montana ended in fuel being spilled all over the road on Wednesday morning.
The semi tried to swerve out of the way of another car that entered its lane. The tractor trailer's driver-side fuel tank was ruptured and emergency crews were dispatched to stop the leak and plug the holes. Around 70 gallons of fuel was spilled.
The driver of the car was unharmed, as was the driver of the semi.
Another accident occurred early this morning in Arizona and a semi driver was seriously injured. The semi truck accident happened on I-10 at around 12:40 a.m.
The driver of the truck was badly injured when his semi overturned and firefighters apparently had to cut him from the cab of the truck. Another person was seriously hurt, but it isn't clear whether they were in the truck or in a SUV that was involved.
The freeway was shut down as crews cleared the scene. No one is aware of what caused the accident.
