04 Aug Tractor Trailer Accidents In Kansas and Indiana, kill 1
It’s only Monday and this week is already stacking up with semi truck accidents. Around 3:00 A.M. on Sunday morning, several emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene of a jack-knifed semi-tractor trailer accident near the 27 mile marker of highway 70, in Indiana. The semi-driver wasn’t hurt and TransCare Search and Rescue were informed that they weren’t needed at the scene.
Members of the JTVFD worked the traffic until motorists could use at least one of the lanes.
Also, another semi accident occurred in Kansas earlier this week. A semi-tractor trailer was headed south on K-27 when the driver lost control of his car and entered a ditch. The trailer went onto its side and the tractor became inverted. The 57-year-old driver, Zelma Prescott, died at the scene. The truck she was driving was out of Utah.
