24 Jul More Semi Truck Accidents Occurring
A semi-truck accident has occurred on Interstate 15 at exit 108 and has blocked both lanes of traffic for more than three hours on Wednesday. Idaho State Police were forced to route traffic off the freeway at exit 108. Reports of the incident reveal that the driver was attempting to overcorrect, when the semi turned over on its side. Luckily, the driver was able to get out of his truck and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. He was later treated and released.
In other news, a bus driver and one of his passengers have been critically injured after their bus collided with a semi-trailer on a Australian highway. The passenger was trapped for more than three hours in the wreckage of the bus after being pushed back three rows by the force of the collision.
Teams of rescuers fought to free the 28-year-old, who was pinned by his legs. It took two cranes to lift the back of the semi-trailer. The man was then airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital.
The semi truck accident created forces so great that it obliterated the front of the bus. Two other passengers suffered serious fractures and other cuts and bruises, while 13 others suffered from lacerations.
A witness said that it was “a very horrific crash”.
