10 Jul Police Seek Witnesses in Semi-truck Accident
Police are seeking witnesses in an accident that occurred in Mantowoc, Wisconsin between a semi-truck and a sedan on I-43, just south of Calumet Avenue on Tuesday. The vehicles were traveling next to each other when one of them left its lane and struck the other,” a spokesman said. It is still being disputed who is at fault.
The sedan was driven by Inge Johnson, while the semi-truck was driven by Ronald Brzenzinski, 52. An unidentified passenger was in Johnson’s vehicle. Eckley didn’t know the person’s identity, he said. Ms. Johnson sustained minor injuries and was later transported to a local hospital.
We have blogged about the dangers of semi-truck accidents before. These trucks are so massive and the drivers are subjected to such long hours so it is no wonder that thousands of catastrophic accidents occur every year.
