Though few details were available at the time of this post, the driver of a Toyota Camry was killed this morning when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a light pole at Interstate 635 and southbound Texas 121.

Traffic built up as police investigated the 6:30 a.m. accident scene during the morning rush hour. No determination has been made as to how the driver lost control. It could have been some form of distraction as is so common as people talk on their cell phones, eat, change the radio settings, and perform other tasks that take their attention away from the road. Luckily, no one else was injured in the accident. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
