Ellis Hurndall was born with brain damage and cerebral palsy, and later died of pneumonia. Now his parents are seeking legal action against the hospital for neglect during and immediately after an emergency Caesarean section. Amanda Hurndall’s uterus ruptured, cutting of oxygen supply to the baby. Ellis was resuscitated at birth, but was left with the severe disabilities that according to the coroner, would later contribute to his untimely death at only 10 months.
