One Man Killed In Semi Truck Crash
An Idaho man is dead after a tractor trailer carrying two flatbed trailers drove off of Interstate 84 on Tuesday. Officials stated that 66-year old Donald Pasma was westbound on I-84 when he drove off the left shoulder of the highway. The truck went through the median and over an overpass, crashing into a wall.
The semi truck crash was so massive that the two trailers landed on top of each other. The driver had to be taken out of the wreckage with the jaws of life.
Pasma was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Idaho State Police and Canyon County deputies responded to the scene of the crash, along with local fire departments. Witnesses reported smoke and flames coming from the truck.
Highway I-84 was blocked for several hours while crews responded to the scene.
